Khutbah Excerpt: Du’a for the Protection of Almighty Allah (SWT)
This du’a contains phases which Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) said whoever says them, he will be under the Protection of Almighty Allah (SWT). If he says it leaving his home, then the Shayaateen will say to themselves ‘We can’t touch him.’ and he will be safe until he returns home. In another Hadith it is mentioned that if one says these words during the day, he will be safe until nightfall. And should he say them at night, he will be safe until daybreak. And if Allah (SWT) has decreed that his time has come, then by saying these words he has guaranteed himself Paradise.
TRANSLITERATION:
Bismillah
wa Subhaana Allah
wal-Hamdulillah
wa Laa E-laa-ha Illal-laah
wal-Laahu Akbar
Wa La How-la wa La Quw-wata
Illa Bil-laa-hil ‘A-ley-youl ‘A-theem
Wa La Mun-ja min-nal-laah Illa E-lay-he
Has-bu-nal-laa wan-ni’-ma Wa-keel
Ta-wa-kel-tu ‘A-lal-laah
Wa Ka-faa bil-laa-he Wa-kee-laa
Allahuma Sal-lee ‘A-laa Muhammad
wa ‘A-laa Aa-lee Muhammad
Kamaa Sawl-lay-ta ‘A-laa Ibraheema
wa ‘A-laa Aa-lee Ibraheem
Wa Baa-rik ‘A-laa Muhammad
wa ‘A-laa Aa-lee Muhammad
Ka-maa Baa-rak-ta ‘A-laa Ibraheema
wa ‘A-laa Aa-lee Ibraheem
Fil ‘Aa-la-meen
In-na-ka Ha-mee-dum Ma-jeed
TRANSLATION:
With the Name of Allah, and Glory belongs to Allah, and Praise belongs to Allah, and there is no God except Allah, and Allah is The Greatest. And there is no movement nor power without Allah, The Most High, The Almighty. And the is no salvation from Allah except to flee to Him. Allah is sufficient for us and the Best of Trustees. I rely upon Allah and Allah is the Best Disposer of affairs.
O Allah, send prayers upon Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) and the family of Prophet Muhammad (SAWS); as You sent prayers upon Ibraheem (AS) and the family of Ibraheem (AS). And bless Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) and the family of Prophet Muhammad (SAWS), as You blessed Ibraheem (AS) and the family of Ibraheem (AS). In all the worlds, You are praised and magnified.
